Blogtober 21st: The Only Thing I Don't Like about Halloween

Halloween is TOTALLY my thing.

Day of birth, or not.

There are so many reasons to love it. The decorating, the dressing up, the festivals, the movies & food. You get what I mean. However, the origin of the holiday has always been the most intriguing.

Blogtober 20th: Fall Accessories Under $20

Are you into fall accessories?

I hope so, because they are vital to the recipe of a cute & cozy outfit.

After looking around on some of my favorite online stores, I've come across quite a few great pieces that are super affordable.

Blogtober 19th: Dream Job | Then & Now

When you're younger, people tend to love to ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Like are we supposed to have our lives figured out at the age of 7?

I don't think that's how it works.

Blogtober 18th: Fall Scents You Need

Okay, I can't be the only one who goes out of the way to change the scent of the whole house when fall arrives.

Say it's not so!

Anyway, I pretty much live in Bath & Body Works usually, & this year is no different. They always offer some amazing scents for every occasion, whether it be a holiday or a season. & I refuse to let fall pass us by without showing you the best smells to fill your home with.

I do have some absolute favorites, so this list is starting with I prefer the most!

Blogtober 14th: Twitter Friends Tag

Twitter has been such a fun & helpful platform for TPOL & for me, personally. I've met & connected with some AMAZING people on it  specifically, a small group of bloggers from all over the world.

Let me tell you just how amazing they are.

Ready? Let's discuss.

We've all banned together to build the the best blogging community I could have ever asked for. We share ideas, tips, resources, & so much love & support. To add to our ever-growing friendships, we've even shared some of our personal lives with one another. It's a beautiful thing, honestly. I always look forward to hearing from them everyday.

Blogtober 13th: Pumpkin Carving

Ahh, sweet Saturday.

First, let me just say that I can't believe I've made it halfway through Blogtober. Time is flying & I bet it's because I'm having so much fun.

In other news, I'm currently out of town right now. Something came up, so my family & I had to take a last-minute road trip. Everything is good so far, but I don't think I was at all prepared for the major temperature change. No, really guys, it's super cold. But I'm managing, haha.

When I was younger, I used to always want to carve pumpkins for Halloween. Of course, because of the religious background that I came from, I didn't really have a chance. & even after my parents eased up with their beliefs, I still somehow never got around to doing it. But this year, I was determined to carve a pumpkin, especially since it's a part of my fall bucketlist challenge.

Blogtober 12th: DFW Fall City Guide

Being in Texas means having WAY more to explore.

There is undoubtedly always an event of some sort happening. It's part of what I love about living here. In fact, it almost feels like I'm on a permanent vacation.

The DFW metroplex area is HUGE & the season has changed, which means fall events that the city hosts will be plentiful. Today, I'm giving you a super fun guide of things that are taking place over the next couple of weeks. I've even signed up for a few of them myself!

Blogtober 10th: A Day in the Life

Now that I've been blogging for almost a year, more people are finding out about what I do. That comes with a ton of questions, which I try to answer to the best of my ability. However, I still consider myself a baby in the industry, so I only give them what I know. Some questions are really good & some are just amusing. But inquiring minds want to know. Ya know?

Blogtober 8th: Recently | New Book Alert

Have I ever mentioned that I just LOVE books? Because, I do.

I always have. In fact, when I was younger, as far as I was concerned, my room held the best little library there was. My books & I were inseparable. One was always with me, no matter where I was. I had so many — some in just about every genre. & I’d always get so elated when I got a new one.

Blogtober 7th: Behind the Gram

I slept in today because yesterday, I was EXTRA busy. I was going non-stop, & was barely able to keep up. "The edge of exhaustion" is how I recall my description of what I was feeling. But I'm okay now. Well rested & ready to go some more.

I got the idea of doing this type of blog post from Hayley Paige, who got it from another blogger. It was full of humor & she let us in to see a little more of who she is, so of course I just had to do it. A lot happens behind the scenes of a photo that is hidden from everyone else. So, allow me to give you the scoop.

Blogtober 2nd: Fall Bucketlist

So fall is here & all the feels you get when the season arrives are starting to settle in.

You know, those warm, cozy feels — the feels that LITERALLY NOTHING can touch because it’s fall. You get the point.
